Privacy Policy

Your files stay on your device. Image, PDF, document, audio, QR and watermark tools run in your browser. File contents are never uploaded to or stored on ReFormatic servers.

Codecs

Your browser downloads the tools from this site when needed. The image engine is about 14 MB and the audio encoder about 31 MB; both are cached by your browser for reuse.

Temporary data

Converted results live in browser memory until you close the page. Downloading saves a copy to the location you choose on your device. ReFormatic has no server copy of your file to delete.

Photo metadata

Photos can contain GPS coordinates, camera serial numbers and owner names. The image converter removes private details by default and lets you change this setting.

On-device preferences

Converting requires no account. Presets you create are saved in this browser and are not synced to a server. A cookie remembers your language choice; the browser saves your light or dark theme.

Conversion counts

ReFormatic adds up successful conversions by day and format pair to show today’s and all-time totals. The counter stores no IP address, file name, size, content, file fingerprint or user identifier.
